SergeS Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Hello everybody, I had a problem with 4.5 standalone version on the test PC (details here). It has beem fixed and I have decided to update my main computer. Now, have installed 4.5-1397 server version, installation and update was with no problem, but application is crashed when I am trying to open any category in "tags" window, see picture: There is no problem when I am clicking to close category. Have tried also previous version (1396), the problem is the same. Optimizing of the catalog passing with no problem, however does not helps. Local catalogs are working good. This is the first time when I have installed any 4.5 server version, version 4.1-1280 has been installed before. Any suggestions? Quote

After re-installation (all my tags saved in the photos so it is safe from this point of view) I cannot even open shared catalog, trows exception: Daminion Server Administration screenshots: As a log on information I have used Name/Password to login to windows on my pc, this is the way how it was before. Is this correct? P.S. Windows 8.1, Home Daminion Server License. P.P.S. Also, I can not work with local catalogs, it is not recognizing my home server license, so 15k photos limitation is in effect. Even worse, have tried to re-install 4.1-1280 version, which was working before 4.5 installation, and have no luck. It is trowing exception with message: Invalid password or username "HomeServer" Exception of type 'PicaJet.Daminion.Common.AccessDeniedException' was thrown. Why "HomeServer"? My user name used to log on is different and, according to administrative panel, the log on is successful... I am not even talking anymore about 4.5? how to restore 4.1 version? :-) Quote
Murat Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 The problem is because Windows/AD Security mode was selected with Home Server license that doesn't support it.You can fix it by yourself: - Launch Daminion Server Admin panel - Remove your license - Go to Administration menu > Preferences - Switch to Security Mode - Check Daminion Security Mode - Enter your license key again - Restart Daminion Server - Try to open your Daminion server catalog again Let me know if you want that we fix this issue for you remotely.
