Renaming of tags on interface

Hi there,

 

I was wondering if it is possible to rename label tags on Daminion's client interface?

 

Let me explain, for instance, for some reason I use the "Comments" field to save dates in the format '2015-05-20', that helps me to do some other tasks. I would like to see in the Properties Panel the label "Some Date" instead of "Comments", would it be possible perhaps modifying a resource file or something?

 

I can create a new custom field but I think that would add unnecesary complexity to my database as I won't use the Comments field for anything else. Also, I don't mind the field in the database to continue being "Comments", with the label being what I need it would be perfect.

You can try to do this by editing PicaJet.Daminion.Common.Localization.resources.dll file. But it will be replaced by new program updates

Will try that. Perhaps would it be possible to expose the resource files in .resx files instead of dll files? I'm not sure if it would be helpful for other users or it's just me :)

resx files should be compiled to dll files.
