Uwe Posted March 31, 2015 Report Share Posted March 31, 2015 Hello, there are some old (2002) videos recorded in 2002 with Canon G2, media format AVI. XMP support=ON in the server settings Daminion doesn't read the metadata "Date/Time Original" of this AVI format. If you enter the DateTime in the Properties Panel a XMP file is created and then the DateTime is used from the tag "Date/Time Original" of the XMP file. XMP support=OFF in the server settings Daminion doesn't read the metadata "Date/Time Original" of this AVI format. If you enter the DateTime in the Properties Panel a XMP section is created in the AVI file and the tag "Date Created" is used for the entered DateTime. That means: in both cases one has to enter the DateTime metadata in Daminion once more even if they are already existing in the file.
