Weogo Reed
Hi Folks, When Looking at a catalog, everything is shown, including simple GIFs, PNGs, .Mov, etc. How do I show just .JPG files, or .Tiffs, etc.? Also, is it possible to show only files in a range of dates, for instance January 1, 2015 ~ January 20, 2015, or for just January 2015, or for just the year, 2015? Thanks and good health, Weogo LiveEdge.net
Uwe
Hello Weogo, to select the items by JPG, TIF etc. you can use the Media Format in the Catalog Panel. You should find there the tag group "Images" and there the assigned formats. Also a combination is possible by using the CTRL-click function. A more advanced search you can define by using the button "Advanced". There you can enter your search criteria and if you want to use it a second time you can save your search. kalain
How do I show just .JPG files, or .Tiffs, etc.? You can use "advanced" search button and type : - Media format equals .jpg or equals .tiff or from Catalog Tags (left panel) in Media format : - clic on JPEG (green dot) - press Ctrl key and clic on Tiff format. On Media format condition be sure that "OR" is selected. Also, is it possible to show only files in a range of dates, for instance January 1, 2015 ~ January 20, 2015, or for just January 2015, or for just the year, 2015? -Use "Advanced" button search, -Select "creation date time" in the list -select "after" an choose a date. (date 1) - Clic on append condition button, - Select again "Creation date time" - Select "and" condition - Select before and choose another date. (date 2) If you want to display only January 2015 picture or 2015 pictures : in catalog tab (on the left side) - In Creation date time folder, - clic on dot in front 2015 (for 2015 pictures) - or clic on year/month dot (for particular month pictures.) here is some screen shot example to illustrate.
