I've been traveling the past weeks and I've missed the latest Daminion builds and are wanting them! LOL Thanks for the hard work! Cannot wait to use the custom thumbnail feature :) Just a quick question, I'm currently on build 932, would you say it is safe to upgrade directly to build 951 (jumping some builds) or would it be safer to upgrade one by one until I get to 951? I'm only asking as a safe measure because I've never jumped 7 builds before :) Thanks! Quote
rsmith1 Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 Daminion is basically uninstalled and reinstalled, so I don't see why it would cause any problems unless there were odd database schema changes. However, I just did the very jump you are asking about (932-951) on two computers and had no problems at all. Quote
Murat Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 Daminion incrementally updates your database after launching the server part. I suggest you to backup your database before upgrading. Just in case. A lot of bugs were fixed in the 951 version in comparison to the 932 version. Plus the Access Control feature was added to the server version. Quote
