951 - Send by Email (Thunderbird) not working

Hi,

 

From thumbnail, if I hint F8 (right clic/Export/Send by email) and choose "Send by thunderbird (default client)", resize at 1280*1280px.

 

I got these error messages. (One about OutLook!! but use Thunderbird as email client.)

 

And finally this one :

Could you please try this trick:

 

Go into 'set your default programs', select the Thunderbird, and choose 'set this program as default' (even if it is already selected as the default).

 

And try again.

After doing this, it's working now.

I don't know why some default settings was selected with Outlook. I'm using by default thunderbird. (Another Windows mystery!)

In build 966 on another computer with Outlook (configured by default) I get not choice to send image by email except by Gmail !!

What Outlook version has been installed there and did you try to force making it default (even in case it's already specified as default)?

Hi,

 

Here is full Outlook version number :

 

If on a right clic jpg file, I select "Send to / Destinataire", it open correctly a new outlook message ready to send.

 

I expected to do this with Daminion whitout changing any parameters or Outlook options, same behaviour as above.

also I do not have any idea how to do this and do not have Administrator rights to change anything in this share pro computer.
