_noel_
Hello, Is it possible to have several Daminion versions installed in parallel on one PC, i.e. Daminion RC1 build 833, which works on one DB and build 875, which works on a test DB? Nope. But it's possible to have installed 2 different PostgreSQL versions, and connect them from Daminion Server using different ports (for ex: 5432 and 5433). You can work with one catalog at the same time. The active catalog (database) can be selected from the Admin panel. We are working now under the Daminion Server version that allows to open and work with multiple catalogs...
rene
It would be awesome to be able to use more than One catalog in the network at once. There could be one catalouge for Docments, one for music, one for video and one for photos

Murat
Thank you for your answer. I'm sorry, I've posted into the wrong forum: the post should have been posted into the Daminion "standalone" forum :-( I will do a new post ... I didn't test it, but you can install Daminion 833, then copy it's folder to a new location. Then install Daminion 875. But I didn't test this scenario and don't know whether 833 version works in this case. There are might be some issues related to the concurrent access to the same settings. So I don't recommend you to keep 2 different versions of the Daminion Standalone version.
