Daminion is great....but I miss:

1.Search for duplicates

2.Renaming files in Daminion - often I send Photos to friends and would them give a title of the photo without an explanation.....

In Glary utilities software in Advanced tools there is a very basic tools for searching duplicates.

 

As many software are available for doing this, I will try to find a better tool.

Thats right, there ara many tools to search for duplicates. But this is not what I mean. For example: If you delete duplicates with any tool, DAM does not know this and you find it further in the tumbnails and in the catalogue/database. If you know picajet - there you could search for duplicates in the programm and could delete them in the program and you could be sure that they are off know from the folder and from the database. And this is the easiest way to work with duplicates. I meant I miss this feature to find duplicates which are in DAM.

+1 definitely needed. Trying to weed my duplicates is becoming a nightmare.
