779 - Checking Out Question

Hi together,

 

when checking out an image for processing it in i. e. Photoshop I see the following infoboxes:

 

1. Confirm - You are about to check out <n> files -> OK

2. Please wait - processed <n> files

3. Please wait - Progress info

4. Please wait - Updating thumbnails

 

I am wondering about step 4: Why are thumbnails updated *before* I did any external processing of the image(s)? And what about an update of the thumbnails *after* external processing is completed?

Hi Mike,

 

I'm not sure but the thumbnail, not photo itself, has to be updated. The color of the status information: the "V-icon" in the left upper corner of the thumbnail frame, changes to green color.
