As a workaround you can switch .NET Framework 3.5 Off in the Windows 8 System Components installation, close the Window and then turn it On. And after the system rebooting Daminion should works fine. (I do not remember wich build it was.) Now, I'm not able to install automatically and update to latest build. (833) Still stacked at "Installing .Net framework 2.0/3.5" window. mmh! seems there is something to improve here in order to install automatically Daminion with W8. Quote

I let it at least 4 hours but still stacked on same .NET installation window. I will try with older build. One of these worked well! Quote

I have tried to reinstall without any success all builds available in download page from 823 up to 833. (win8 64 bits) Still stay stacked on same .Net framework installation window. I shut down computer and then all builds from 823 to 833 could be installed!!! (Not anymore stacked on this .net framework window) So, I closed my laptop as I usually do (close screen over keyboard) and laptop is going into a sleep mode. I re started my laptop and then I could also reinstall all builds from 823 to 833 but also do downgrade from 833 to 823 without any problems!!! Well, I do not understand what happened here.
