Mardon
When I do a search for a filename I get multiple thumbnails displayed even though there is only a single image file with that name in the folder being searched. This problem is shown in the screen capture images here: http://www.justus.ca/misc/daminion/Multiple_Thumbs_For_One_Image.jpg Note how I search for the file name _3FT5601.CR2 which has only one thumbnail displayed in the thumbnails window. This is correct. There is only one file by that name in the folder selected. However, when I search for that filename, I get 3 thumbnails displayed. One of them is of a completely different image that does not have that filename and is not even located in the folder being searched. This problem happens for all folders I have tried. I have had up to 7 thumbnails displayed for one image file and the metadata is not the same for all the thumbnails. This seems like a fairly serious glitch. Hope it can be eaisly fixed. Could you please confirm that you don't have two different files with the same name ("_3FT5601.CR2") in different folders with the same name ("RAW")? You can try to find all files "_3FT5601.CR2" using Windows Explorer. Another way to locate the file path is to check all Folder with green font in the Tags tree. It must be hard enough to debug a program without people like me occassionaly providing incorrect feedback. You were correct about there being two different files both named "_3FT5601.CR2". I verified this by doing a windows search. I'm not sure why I'm still getting 3 thumbnails displayed for "_3FT5601.CR2" in Daminion when I was only able to find two files by this name. I tried to use right-click, "Locate in Windows Explorer" to locate the actual files correcponding to each thumbnail before I posted about this problem but that feature is still not working in build 731 as posted here. The problem with looking for the green font in the Tags tree is that the green is only visible if the folder containing the image is expanded. I know there is a "Collapse All" command but I can't find an "Expand All" command. Without that, I have to already know the location fo the file in order know which part of the tree to expand to make the green font visible. Thanks again for all your help. Murat
Mardon, does it possible to send me a dump of your shared catalog (by ftp or by wetransfer.com)? You can do it from Admin Panel > File > Backup...
