Project Property

I am looking for a way to assign project names to our images.

 

We have the images in their own folders by project but the naming convention has changed over the years and there is a desire NOT to go back and standardize them (something about inDesign linking). At any rate there appears to be a Project parameter but I can't figure out how to assign it to my images.

 

If I customize the Catalog Tags dialog I can get the Project property, under Description, to appear in my list. I can create new Projects by right-clicking over the field and choosing Add new project. However, this parameter does not appear in the image properties dialog and I can't figure out how to assign it to my images (no amount of drag-n-drop seems to work).

 

Is this a "yet to be implemented" property or am I just missing something? How else might I achieve a similar outcome?

Please consider to create your project hierarchy under the Categories tag, because Project and Client tags are not mapped to the metadata.
