lintujuh
I use Compare Items for selecting which items to keep and which to discard, I guess like most of us. Unfortunately, when trying to select which of the images is the sharpest, I have to open the individual images as the images are not rendered at the full sharpness. You can see the difference looking at the same detail at 100%: the left hand is from Compare Items the right hand one is when viewing the single image. If using lower resolution/higher compression is for performance reasons, it would be nice to have an option, where you could select between speed and precision. lintujuh
I haven't received any comments to this. Here is an example from 14000×5000 panorama. I tried to compare two different stiches, but it was impossible due to the low resolution. Below are screenshots from the same detail at 100%, first in compare images and then when looking at only a single image in full screen view. Oleg.Ross
Hello. Thank you for your feedback. I'm discussing with developers what kind of ' preview' is used for comparison and can we change it for high quality. Best regards,Oleg. Oleg.Ross
@lintujuh We are found there is a problem in compare. Now Daminion in compare mode uses full-size preview. if your files are large, opening( rendering) will be a little bit slower. The fixed version will be ready to download soon. lintujuh
Thank you, and I understand that opening a huge for will not be as fast as opening a small preview.
Oleg.Ross
@lintujuhYes, now the speed same as you watching a single file in fullscreen. New version available now https://daminion.net/download/ And I think we are fixed 4k problem, can you try and give feedback?
lintujuh
Than you @Oleg.Ross The issue is fixed, also the 4k problem seems to be fixed. I browsed through some 50 images in full screen without any issues. Earlier Daminion did crash around the fifth.
