Mel Posted April 7, 2012 Report Share Posted April 7, 2012 Murat, I'm still learning, have noticed two issues yesterday. A. Highlight a thumbnail, right-click, select Properties (Ctrl+D) - cursor and focus goes to People field in Description pane (right side). Is this correct? B. Do the following: Put any jpg into catalog Double click to see the larger view, Daminion renders the file. Esc to go back to thumbnail view Right-click on the thumbnail, use Open with and edit the file. Crop heavily or exaggerate somehow so as to make the problem evident. Save the edited file in the same folder. Overwrite the original. Back to Daminion, rescan folder -- does not update thumbnail. Use Update thumbnail (Ctrl+B) -- does not work either. The old thumbnail remains. (No problem, you’ve promised to rewrite the whole rescan feature. Will wait.) But now the ta-da comes: Double click the (old) thumbnail to see edited file. Nope, the preview shows file before it was edited. I have to close and re-open the catalog, then the changes are visible. Why? How do I tell Daminion to show the new file version? Regards, -- M.
