GasEngine Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 I am using the "Upload files to the server PC" option in the "Choose files to import" dialog. As far as i can see i am not able to import the files into a specific folder i want on my server. This on the other hand makes the folders itself obsolete. Am i doing something wrong or does it really not work? Quote
Murat Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 All uploading files will be stored on a folder that you specified in your Administration panel > Catalogs > Edit > Folder to Store uploaded files. You can additionally specify sub-folder naming rules on your client's Import Window. Unless your admin doesn't lock import settings via Catalog > Import Settings... Quote
GasEngine Posted March 29, 2016 Author Report Posted March 29, 2016 ok. so using this workflow it would be best to import all assets in a lets say "Inbox" folder and move them into the folder structure after that. because otherwise i need to write down the folder-path, right? Quote
