How to import file without extension?

I just realized that Daminion does not have the option of importing any file format. I wish there is an option that allows us to import any file format in the future.

 

My current issue is that though we can specify other file formats to be included during import at Catalog > Import Filters..., how do I import file without extension?

You can specify custom file extensions in Import Filter, but it's not possible to import files without extensions with current Daminion version.
