Ray Posted May 17, 2015 Report Posted May 17, 2015 I have duplicate folders which I seem to be unable to merge. See attachment. This is probable a result of relinking an UNC path (\\server\Collectie) to the local drive (I:\\Collectie). I get this difference when adding pictures from my laptop instead of the server (which is my desktop). My laptop has a mapping to drive I: but that is not used when uploading. How to solve this? I would also like to see a solution for this difference in folders when adding pictures, because it is a bit annoying. Cheers Quote
Murat Posted May 18, 2015 Report Posted May 18, 2015 Can you try to remove the mapped i drive. Then merge folders. And then map your unc path to i letter again. Quote
Ray Posted June 13, 2015 Author Report Posted June 13, 2015 Sorry, hadn't looked earlier... What do you mean with "merge folders"? If I use Daminion on the pc with server I have two similar drives. I cannot merge them. It says: "Source and destination path must be different" Ray Quote
Murat Posted June 17, 2015 Report Posted June 17, 2015 After removing mapping to I: drive please Relink the I: drive in your Daminion Folders panel to (\\server\Collectie\\). We could also arrange a remote TeamViewer session so we can better and faster assist you. Quote
