I am an amateur photographer with a smallish number (less than 30,000) of photos. I was thinking of buying it - but surely I would be better off just using Daminion for free! Murat Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 Chris, thanks for the kind words! If your point of interest is an Image Management tasks then you are on the right way. PicaJet has some extra features that are missed on the Daminion: watched folders, burn to DVD, export to online sharing services, loss-less editing features, printing contact-sheets, etc... But Daminion is a product that actively developed while PicaJet's development is freezed/stopped. So I guess it's better to invest to a progressive product, and I confirm your decision. Quote
