Uwe
Hello, I've edited the first post and this is the second version: The local folder of the Publishing Service on disc is in the Folder Panel. The Auto-Rescan is ON for this folder. 1. upload a file, e.g. "cloud_file.jpg" to the cloud of the Cloud Provider by an external user 2. the synch between cloud and local folder transfers the file "cloud_file.jpg" from the cloud to the local folder on the disc. 3. the Rescan Folders of the Auto-Rescan function imports the file "cloud_file.jpg" in the Daminion Catalog 4. The file "cloud_file.jpg" appears in the Folders Panel of the catalog and the item appears in the Thumbnail View 5. The item "cloud_file.jpg" doesn't appear in the Publishing Service of the catalog because it is not assigned to a Publishing Service Tag 6. I assign the Publishing Tag to the item "cloud_file.jpg" 7. the result is: the file "cloud_file.jpg" is copied on the local folder by the Daminion Publishing function and the copy gets the name "cloud_file1..jpg". Please consider the extension of the file name by "1." 8. in Daminion you see: 8a. in the Publishing Server Panel you see both items: "cloud_file.jpg" and "cloud_file1..jpg" because both are assigned to the Publishing Tag 8b. in the Folders Panel you also see both files: "cloud_file.jpg" and "cloud_file1..jpg" because both are in the local folder of the Publishing Service 9. both files are from now on also in the cloud 10. in Daminion I've removed only the item "cloud_file.jpg" from catalog and deleted it from disc 11. in Daminion you see at first: the item "cloud_file1..jpg" is still in the catalog and appears in the Folder Panel and the Publishing Service Panel 12. in the local folder on the disc: both files, "cloud_file.jpg" and "cloud_file1..jpg" are deleted 13. in the cloud: both files, "cloud_file.jpg" and "cloud_file1..jpg" are deleted 14. after some minutes no file is assigned to the Publishing Service and no file appears in the Folder Panel The questions remains: Why does one get a copy of the file?
