daniel-ina
Good morning! I have noticed today that when one puts multiple files in their tray, highlights all those files in their tray, then drags them to a tag (in my case, collections), the files in the tray are not assigned that tag. The files that are selected in the compact view area are given that tag instead of those highlighted and dragged across from the tray. This should be repeatable if you drag multiple files to your tray, select a different file in the view screen, then drag the tray files to a tag. Perhaps this is a bug or maybe I am doing something wrong? Thanks heaps, Daniel.
Murat
In the 3.0 version we blocked an ability to drag images from the Tray to the Tags list. Unfortunately some features are limited for items in the Tray, like assigning tags. These limitations are because you can add files from multiple catalogs to the same Tray, and it's not obvious what to do you'll drag items from Catalog #1 + Catalog #2 to the tags tree belonged to the Catalog #
Mammut
If the controlled vocabulary will be a catalog independent global one (as I hope, i'd like a common tag list feature so i don't have always exporting and importing them between the catalogs after every little change), it could be a solution to assign tags to tray elements. derbay
Are there any update on this issue? It would be really convenient to drag from the tray to the tag list. We mainly use single catalog. Is it possible to bring back the feature if single catalog is opened?
Murat
This feature is included into the Roadmap for the upcoming Daminion 3.5 version.
