Tray usage

Is there any news about future Tray window improvements ?

 

Here is a small reminder about how Tray (Lightbox) should wok. (From my point of view)

 

Here is workflow I'd like to do :

1/ Memory card importation is done is a "To be sorted" folder

 

2/ Assigning tags :

2a/ When thumbnails are grouped or closed together :

- Tags are assigned directly to thumbnails

2b/ When thumbnails are not grouped together :

- Same thumbnails subject are grouped (drad/drop) in Tray window

- Tags are assigned to these grouped thumbnails from Tray window.

NB : By now, you can't assign any tag from a full view (from Tray)!! (Properties panel is not available)

 

3/ When assignation is finished (from 2a/ or 2b/)

You drag and drop thumbnail to final directory.

While searching right folder in tree folder, this feature (request) would be very usefull :

Don't understand this message. The tray is not visible when you are on the Full Screen mode.

 

We'll fix a few issues with Tray according to your other posts. Thansk for the suggestions!

Don't understand this message. The tray is not visible when you are on the Full Screen mode.

 

From Tray, if you double click on thumbnail, Full view is displayed but :

- Properties panel is no displayed, neither hidden!

- You can't edit Title (Not displayed)

- You can't add a color label (displayed but not available)

- You can't assign a rating star. (displayed but not available.)

 

So, you can't work in full view from Tray.
