pgrondin
I typically have way too many applications open at the same time, but when I have say 10 application windows open with Daminion running (idle), and then start some Excel 2003 macros; the macros proceed at a snails pace till I shut Daminion down. Are there resources that Daminion could release when not needed to prevent this behaviour?
Murat
Does the problem repeatable? And you can reproduce it? Please invoke Windows Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and switch to the Processes page once you expected the same problem. What do you see on the CPU line for Daminion process? pgrondin
Unfortunately it is not reproducible. It happens occasionally, sometimes several days in a row, and then will not happen again for a week or two. The only thing that is repeatable, is that when Excel macros slow that way, they immediately recover when I shut Daminion down. When it happens again, I will capture more data regarding what else is running, memory usage etc.
