Feature Request: exclude folders ("nomedia" or ".daminionignore")

It would be nice to have something like the android 'nomedia' mechanism. For example, to exclude your itunes library while scanning your "my documents" folder. Or the more complex mechanism used in GIT (.gitignore) allowing for the inclusion and exclusion of files and folders by pattern.
