_noel_
Hello, In the latest Daminion version (777) colormanagement ist broken again: - thumbs are always color managed, regardless of what is configured in the preferences - when colormanagement is enabled for fullscreen view, at first the image appears colormanaged (while "loading ...") and then it snaps to a "sharp" image and the colormanagement is gone. please test it with the colormanagement test images I've sent to you two or three weeks ago ... I've switched the options several times and booted my system, but CM does not woork for Daminion. Regards
_noel_
It drives me crazy latest Daminion version (779): - thumbs are always color managed, regardless of what is configured in the preferences - colormanagement for fullscreen view: sometimes it works - sometimes not if not, it mostly works, when I switch CM off/on in preferences I can't get it ... very strange  Regards
kalain
Hi, May be some screen shot will help (at least for me) to see where is the problem. Thanks
Murat
Noel, what monitor do use (don't remember whether I am asked you about this before)? We plan to order a few monitors with IPS matrices with better coverage of the AdobeRGB color space. It's hard to determine the differences between two modes (when CMS for image previews is switched On or Off) with our monitors now, cause their color profile is very closest to the sRGB profile. Hello Murat, Thanks for your answer. I'm using a Nec Multisync PA301W which is calibrated with a "i1 display pro" with the Nec Spectraview II software, but I think a cheaper/smaller monitor is enough to test CM with Daminion, essential is that it can display (nearly) full AdobeRGB. I can send you an image of a red flower, where one can see the difference between sRGB and AdobeRGB very clearly. I've found some new details about my CM problem this weekend, I just wanted to write it down in this thread this afternoon. When opening the CM settings of Daminion, I can see my current display profile in the middle of the dialog: Sometimes the line with the display profile is missing (see next screenshot), then the CM is broken in Daminion, but I've not realized yet, what leads to this effect. No other program has such problems with CM on my computer (Win7/64bit/SP1). BTW: CM for thumbs is always enabled, whether the coresponding checkbox is on or off. No other program has such problems with CM on my computer (Win7/64bit/SP1). Something is wrong with determining your color profile by Daminion (in some cases). And this leads to the problem with incorrectly displaying of images in the full screen mode. Can you determine the exact steps that lead to this issue in 100% cases? This might help to locate us the issue. BTW: CM for thumbs is always enabled, whether the coresponding checkbox is on or off. During the importation all the thumbnails are converted to the sRGB color space, that completely fits into your AdobeRGB Monitor and you see them with minimal color loses due to their small size (maximally 400 pixels by bigger side). In the preview mode we convert images using a built-in image color profile to a monitor color profile (without preliminary conversion to the sRGB profile).
