_noel_ Posted April 6, 2013 Report Share Posted April 6, 2013 Hello, Could you please use the newest ExifTool version (9.2.4) in the next Daminion release ? With the ExifTool version distributed with Daminion (9.0.9.0) there are problems with german umlauts, which lead to the effect, that exiftool does not write or update any tags in NEFs (and other image files ?), but there is no error message in the Daminion UI. I've "faked" Daminion with the new ExifTool version and then the tags are written. I can send you an NEF file , where you can test this, if you want. I'send you a NEF file, which I cannot change with Daminion and the original ExifTool, with the patched (new) Exiftool it works ...
