Add string of keywords to a batch of images

 

We would like to add a string of keywords to a batch of images. There are twelve keywords in the string. The words are comma-separated. Most of the words are showing up in the images but some are not. For example the word 'history' is not accepted in the batch processing. Maybe the forum has an idea on how to solve the issue?

Hi Richard,

 

A sample list of steps:

1. Update to Daminion 0.9.9.721 version

2. Launch Daminion, open a catalog and select images

3. Go to the Properties panel and click on the "Click here to display union..." if you selected more than 20 files

4. Locate the "Keywords" tag, right click and select "Paste" option from the appeared context menu.

5. Press Save button.

 

Alternatively, you can append a set of new keywords by creating a Tag Preset. Assigned a Tag Preset will append new keywords to an existing keywords of each selected image.

 

Hope this helps.

The keywords are placed in an alphabetical order. We would like to achieve that our additional string of keywords is placed at the end of the word string. How we have to proceed to achieve this?

According to the XMP/MWG specification that Daminion follows, Keywords is a tag with un-ordered array values. It means that we don't store their order and you can't change it.
