Custom Video Thumbnail

Here is solution for custom video thumbnails:

1. Download ffmpeg tool

https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/

2. Extract from archive

3. Open Daminion and define new external tool

 

 

4. Add new tool

 

 

5. Locate ffmpeg

 

 

6. Setup command line arguments

 

 

7. Select video file and launch external tool

 

 

8. Rebuild thumbnail (Ctrl + B)

 

command line arguments:

-i {Filename} -ss 00:00:2 -vframes 1 {Filename}.thumb.jpg

 

As you can see I chose 2 sec from beginning of video for thumbnail.
