dchass
I am new to Daminion (v3.7.0 bld.1187), which I am finding an excellent program for my purposes. However, I am having great difficulty gettimg Import > csv files to work. I have several csv files from a 3rd party photo annotation program, and my principal aim is to import IPTC data from this csv file to my images via Daminion. I am able to reach the "Import from CSV File" page and I can set the appropriate Mapping Tags, but after the status bar shows processing (in this case) of 706 images, NO DAT IS IMPORTED. Is there a help file or Knowledge Base answer on using the many options to be completed in Daminion for this process?

However, I am having great difficulty gettimg Import > csv files to work...... Is there a help file or Knowledge Base answer on using the many options to be completed in Daminion for this process? When I mentioned that NO DATA IS IMPORTED, I have noticed that all of my Place and Event tags are listed in the LHS Catalog Tags panel, but these tags are not synchronised to individual images. But Sync has been turned on. So, obviously part of the Import process has worked, but not the Sync aspect. Can anyone help please?
Murat
A new topic about importing files from CSV will be added to our Knowledge base soon. Can we arrange a remote session so you could demonstrate me the issue with importing. Or can you please record a brief screencast video demonstrating this issue. You can use this small screen capture utility.
