franky68
Hello, when using Daminion server and downloading an image (either with "View with" or "Check out and edit with") the called application gives me an error message that it could not read the desired image. Comparing the local copy with the original shows that both files are different: D30_8520.NEF: Original: 19.537 kB Copy: 19.526 kB
Murat
Frank, thanks for the message - added to the bug-tracking list.
Murat
May be I am asking this question too late, but does it possible to send me those two files (D30_8520.NEF: Original: 19.537 kB and Copy: 19.526 kB)?
franky68
Yes, its too late ;^) ...but I can try to reproduce it and send you the files later this evening when I am at my laptop. Right now I tried with my server and ran into another bug. I open a (shared) catalog and when I select "check out and edit with cnx" I get this "you are about to check out..." dialog which I wish I could "do not show again" but after hitting "OK" I get an error message: Unable to Check Out Die Methode oder der Vorgang sind nicht implementiert (That method or procedure are not implemented) "View with" seems to fail silently. Whatever application I choose nothing happens. As said, this happens on my desktop computer which also runs the server deaemon and physically holds the images. I tried with several images and NEF as well as JPEG.
Murat
Yes, there is a problem with CheckOut/In on the Daminion Server - part of the functionality is not implemented yet. I hope we'll fix it soon
