When I connect it to my Windows 8 PC it shows up as a Media device (MTP) and not a mass storage device. So it hasn't a drive letter associated to it. From the Daminion import function I can browse to the media device but the photos do not show up in the import window. Support for importing from smartphones and other devices will be available in the next Daminion major update. BTW the latest Daminion version is 2.5. It's available to download on our forum now.
