What can I do that DAM works faster? - What Daminion version do you use? - What image formats mainly imported into your catalog? - Do your images taken using sRGB or AdobeRGB - Does your Color Management is turned on? - Where are your images located: on a local or shared catalog? - Could you please email me your catalog file? Russell
Can't wait for faster thumbnails! (Is Server generally faster for this?) Thanks, Russell
Murat
Can't wait for faster thumbnails! (Is Server generally faster for this?) Yep, the server performance is much better. Plus you can make your Server version even faster if you'll follow Exterminador's suggestions. BTW did you notice whether thumbnail displaying is faster with the 825 build? Russell
BTW did you notice whether thumbnail displaying is faster with the 825 build? Hi Murat, I haven't loaded 825, so I'll do that... and I'll consider the server version. It's been strange - at times thumbnails are fast, often they're not... In fact the first time they were fast, I about fell out of my chair! Looking forward to what 825 or server might do to help. I'll load it soon, Russell
